Welcome To Liberty Orchard in Vermont
Liberty Orchard is a family owned, pick your own orchard located in beautiful Brookfield Vermont. We specialize in Liberty and five other new disease-resistant varieties. While not organic, these new varieties allow us to significantly reduce the use of agricultural chemicals.
We are open from September 26th until picked out (often Columbus Day). Kids love our short, easy to pick trees and you will too! So grab your camera, pack a picnic and bring the kids to enjoy a lovely fall day in our park like orchard.

Our apples : Liberty - Crisp and tart, a great all around eating and baking apple.
Freedom - Milder but still crisp, makes great cider.
Brookfield - Crisp and spicy, a great snack any time.
Nova - For those with a sweet tooth, crisp and sweet.
Jonafree - Tart and waiting for a pie, will keep for months.
Maggie - Cherry Red, milder and great saucers.
All our apple varieties were developed by Cornell to be scab resistant. This allows us to greatly reduce our use of agriculture chemicals.
